Drive Electric Day: Summerside
When: August 19, 2023 - 10AM-4PM
Where: Holland College Waterfront Campus, Main Parking Lot, 98 Water St, Summerside, PEI
Details: Come on out to this EV Showcase Event! Hear from valuable speakers in the field and talk to experts in electric vehicles, environmentalism, energy efficiency, and more.
Test Drive Requirements:
Please arrive at the event at least 15 minutes before your test-drive in order to check-in at the green Drive Electric registration tent.
Test-drivers must be 21+ with a valid and full driver’s license (ie. Not a learner’s permit).
Test-drivers must sign a waiver, online or in person.
Up to 3 passengers may accompany the test-driver, provided they are 10 years old and do not require an assistive device in the vehicle (ie. No car seat/booster seat, etc). The passengers (or guardian in the case of a minor) must also sign a waiver.
Test-drivers will be accompanied by an NB Lung volunteer or staff member and will drive a designated route to ensure they return in time for the next test-driver.
Partnerships: This event will have booths to engage the public in topics such as environmentalism, energy efficiency, electrification, EVs, and more. If your organization would like to be involved in our event, please contact us!
Any dealerships with electric vehicles on their lots can be involved by committing vehicles for the test-drives or bringing a vehicle to show to the public. If you want to be present at this event, please contact us!
This event will need volunteers in various roles, such as traffic guides and test-drive guides in the EVs, who are provided with training. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer or learning more about it, please contact us!
