Drive Electric Day: Saint John

Details: Come on out to this EV Showcase Event! At the Saturday Drive Electric Day, you can hear from valuable speakers in the field and talk to experts in electric vehicles, environmentalism, energy efficiency, and more. Don’t forget to register to test-drive an EV when the link is available here.

And on Sunday there will be further test-drive opportunities, while staff from dealerships and the lung association will be present to answer any questions. Anyone who comes by the event will be able to enter their name for the draw prize.

Test Drive Requirements:

  • Please arrive at the event at least 15 minutes before your test-drive in order to check-in at the green Drive Electric registration tent.

  • Test-drivers must be 19+ with a valid and full driver’s license (ie. Not a learner’s permit).

  • Test-drivers must sign a waiver, online or in person.

  • A passenger may accompany the test-driver, provided they do not require an assistive device in the vehicle (ie. No car seat/booster seat, etc). The passenger (or guardian in the case of a minor) must also sign a waiver.

  • All persons inside a test-driver vehicle must wear a mask. We will provide one if necessary.

  • Test-drivers will be accompanied by a Lung Association volunteer and will drive a designated route to ensure they return in time for the next test-driver.

Any dealerships with electric vehicles on their lots can be involved by committing vehicles for the test-drives or bringing a vehicle to show to the public. If you want to be present at this event, please contact us!

This event will need volunteers in various roles, such as traffic guides and test-drive guides in the EVs, who are provided with training. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer or learning more about it, please contact us!
